Remarks: The tranquility of downtown La Grange, Kentucky is briefly interrupted as CSXT #9004 leads Q226, a northbound loaded rack train, down Main Street toward Cincinnati on a beautiful summer morning. I grew up about 15 miles from here, and my first memories of railfanning involve driving to La Grange with my Father and eating lunch at a restaurant along Main Street. It's always nice to get back to where it all started!
I love this location. Ever since I bought a copy of Pentrex's 'Street Running', a few years ago, I've always wanted to go there. And, October next year, I will be.
I have a photograph of the same train a day later in Pittsburgh on rp.net. Its always neat to see when someone else get a shot of the same train you did, but its even cooler when the other shot is in a different medium
Nice video. I love the reflection on the nearby car. The thumbnail makes 9004 look like a big monster coming into the small town to reak havoc! Very nice one, Chris.

My wife and I stopped in LaGrange for dinner at a restaurant on this street several years ago. When we walked into the restaurant, the first question we were asked was "where did you park?" The staff did not want us to lose our car to a train!
