Cannot Display High Quality Video

Due to bandwidth constraints, only members of our affordably priced RVElite subscription service may view ultra high quality videos.

Ultra high quality videos are encoded at a higher video resolution (640x480, the size of this light gray box), are sampled at bitrates of 4000+k/sec, have no compression added, and may be viewed by our valued RVElite members in full-screen mode.

Remarks: NS 980 passes the small yard at Blacksburg, SC. This train runs once every week from Atlanta, GA to the port at Norfolk, VA. The lone Dash 9 sounds like the amp meter is pegged as it hustles the tonnage of the brute machines it carries across the rolling sandhills of central South and North Carolina. Blacksburg is the junction point between the mainline and NS's once SB line between Shelby, NC and Kings Creek, SC. The portion of the line between Blacksburg and Shelby is now abandoned and dormant, while the southern portion to Kings Creek is now operated by the Carolina Coastal Railway. Railcars for their sole customer on this line sit in yard at Blacksburg, waiting to be delivered for loading.
