Remarks: Tracks 1 and 2 at Cresson were all but buried as a westbound manifest loomed out of a late October snowstorm at 11:46. C40-9W 9517 led the way, followed by SD70 2559, SD60M 6766, and C40-9Ws 9008 and 9415. The white and gray covered hoppers on the tail end blended back into their surroundings quickly as the train rolled on towards Pittsburgh.
Thanks! I was pleased that at least for this shot, I was able to record the entire train without getting snow on the lens. The wind that day had an uncanny knack for changing direction to blow at the front of the camera no matter which way it was facing.

Boy, has it been 20 years since I was up in Cresson? Sure brings back memories even though it was in the summer when I was there. Your video whetted my appetite to go back but I believe I'll wait for the summer to go back. Great video Dave but now I have to go turn the kerosene heater on.........
