Remarks: As spring installed so nice and tender over the lands of Romania, so in my soul came a huge desire of taking a bike trip somewhere, anywhere. But I chose M801, Titan Sud – Oltenița train route, this railroad line is going parallel with the Pantelimon – Budești – Oltenița county road. One big reason to come here was that the plenty of trains that run here can give me the possibility to take some photos.
In the same time, I gained a nice personal record, in just 11 hours I managed to ride 105,5 kilometers between my home, Regie and Budești. A bad inconvenient was the wind that when returning home it blew right through my face. Never speaking about the sun that tan my face. Anyway, the road was excellent, my bike had a great comportament. Moreover, the line was near the road, so I could make some stops in the station to take photos…
… to take photos with the new TFG ex-DB 624 DMUs that are making service since 22nd March 2012. Some of the rail station gaved me some nice views of the tracks, but other were too huddled by the people houses. But I was satisfied by the landscapes that I saw, the trains I took photos to and, not at least, a big adventure.
