Remarks: The first two GP60Ms arrived in Los Angeles on May 22, 1990 and, coincidently, that same day a passenger special behind a pair of FP45s (91 and 90) operated on the railroad’s Surf Line. The train, carrying officials of the Southern California Regional Rail Authority were touring the various lines on which they hoped to begin Metrolink commuter train service, is seen here passing through the Amtrak station in Anaheim, California.
