I think it's great they're maintaining the tower as a piece of railroad history. Most of those are demolished and forgotten about. Correct me if I'm wrong, it appears another piece of history, namely the old block signals, are about to bite the dust.

Yes the entire interlocking is being resignaled. The only signals that are not being replaced are the eastbound signals on the east-west CSX line. Oddly enough they replaced the C&O signals last year and those replacements are being replaced and moved closer to the diamonds.

Great video there. I really like the way you edited it to keep the action in the shot and moved the camera around to make it feel more organic than just one camera in one place for the whole video. The Marion diamond is a great locale and seeing your video made me feel like I was there again.
