Remarks: Saginaw Timber 2-8-2 No. 2 under steam at Wisconsin's Mid Continent Railway Museum in June 1998. This locomotive, a 70-ton Baldwin logging Mikado, was built for Saginaw Timber, but later ran for Polson Logging and Rayonier. It was used on the Cadillac & Lake City in Michigan, and the Kettle Moraine Railway in Wisconsin before coming to the Mid Continent Museum. It last operated during Snow Train 2000, and is currently undergoing a complete overhaul. This video contains scenes of the No. 2 being steamed up at the North Freedom engine house, then out on the road with the regular museum passenger train.

Do you have any idea when the Saginaw 2-8-2 will return to service?
