Cannot Display High Quality Video

Due to bandwidth constraints, only members of our affordably priced RVElite subscription service may view ultra high quality videos.

Ultra high quality videos are encoded at a higher video resolution (640x480, the size of this light gray box), are sampled at bitrates of 4000+k/sec, have no compression added, and may be viewed by our valued RVElite members in full-screen mode.

No offense, but the horn sounds like it came off a tugboat!

Well what do you expect? The railroad used to be an airline.

Awesome video!!! I wonder what they are hauling in those tankers???

Posted by Mike the railfanner on December 2, 2009

Those are Omya tankers. They are used to haul limestone slurries. The Pan Am paint scheme that is on the third locomotive is the original paint scheme. They have changed it to a dark blue plain scheme. Rather boring IMHO, I much prefer the scheme that was on this locomotive as it passes my neighborhood often.
