Remarks: It's the Opening Weekend for 2008 on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. The railroad's huge 2-8-0 #734 is all set, as it leads a four-car train up the Allegheny Mountains on 16 miles of steep grades between Cumberland and Frostburg. Even with the short train, 734 continues the legacy that the Western Maryland Railway once was. Enjoy!
