Remarks: Man, that's a lot of Horse Power! 3 Blue SD60I's, 6725, 6722, and 6719 lead a 130 car PPLX coal drag with a 4 banger consisting of 3373, 3338, 3346, and 3340 on the rear, all engines running very hard trying to get this heavy drag up a 1.15% grade. A good horn, throttle, and smoke show all in one video!

The only way I can think of that would make this clip better is if they reversed the order of the helper sets and had the 1st set with the blue in the back, but hey 3 CLEAN blue 60I's on the head end? Can't complain there, can't complain there at all.

I still think it's cool to see three old "Blue Dogs" on the head-end! Thanks for sharing, Eric.

I must have watched this video 5 times just to hear that beautiful horn. I've railfanned almost this entire line from Harrisburg to Johnstown including this location probably 100 times but I have never been lucky enough to record such a wonderful sounding Conrail 3 chime horn (even in the Conrail days) that is heard on this video. Thank You very much for Posting!
