Please note that Guilford unit 504 is a GP40-2 and unit 327 is a GP40...and therefore they are not GP38-2 units as you describe. All GP38-2 units are normally aspirated and the GP40 and GP40-2 units are turbocharged and thus have the distinctive EMD turbo "whine".
