Remarks: Filmed from rear platform of DRGW Caboose 0579. DRGW C18 #315 is taking a stock extra west to Chama, NM from Antonito, CO. July 7, 2008.
This trip usually takes about an hour. But, I've sped up the video to compress it into 3 minutes. Eventually I'll have the full hour-long video posted on my website.

Now if we only had a little bit of banjo music in the background, like "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" would make it complete. Dave :)

Are you sure you weren't on the San Juan Express of the 1930s? Neat flick.

Very nice video Jason!
I assume you were the one that was standing on the right of the caboose on the way back, I was that kid with his dad (and possibly my mother) on the other side of the platform.
Hey Ryan. Yes that was me. That was a GREAT trip. I really appreciate you and your dad being so considerate and not talking loud enough for the camera to pick you up. I'll post the full video on my site as soon as I get a chance. It's an hour long and will be too large to post here.

It would be cooler if you reverse the video....and keep it sped up, that way you can see what's coming your way....just a suggestion....other than that, nice vid...

Excellent, and possibly if you you use a negative# in your edit program speed, and it could be a cab ride!

Did the reversal process ever get done?
If so....where might I find it!
Thanks in advance.
