Remarks: The curve near Carney's Crossing was a busy place this fall afternoon as an SD50 and an SD80MAC, both still in Conrail blue, take two cars to Cresson on Track 2 on a local run. Then NS 590 coal drag slowly makes its way eastbound on Track 1 as a westbound autorack zips by on Track 3. All this action takes place against a background of trees in their autumn colors. As the end of the coal drag nears, you hear the steady droning of a four pack of SD40-2 helpers as they shove the drag up the West Slope.

The multi-colored backdrop is breath-taking! I love it! Some cool radio chatter too. One of the voices sounded like a computer-generated voice synthesizer. Nice!

Incredible color! Not much color here in the Reading area. I love the meets, and the 4-banger is always a favorite. Your videos really make me wish I could get beck out there again this year. Thanks for posting!

I agree, the colors were beautiful at this spot and I was fortunate to get 3 trains to video against them. The computer voice you hear is the hot box/dragging equipment detector located around the curve in the distance, near Carney's Crossing.

I have to agree, both Mother Nature and the videographer did a wonderful job here.

Thanks for all your kind comments.....this was a great year here for fall color in our area and Lilly had a couple nice spots. I hope to post more from other Lilly locations soon.

This turn is kind of busy I would say.
