Bad timing with the horn... what was up with that?

This crossing is a quiet zone, he was honking at me to be friendly.

Quiet zone in this location.

Posted by Mike G. on December 5, 2008

Yea, it'll be a quiet zone till someone gets nailed.

Posted by oldtoot on December 8, 2008

I agree with Mike. There's absolutely no reason for quiet zones with some of the moron drivers we have out there who run around gates and play chicken with trains at railroad crossings.

Yeah, but next thing you know probably every single town in the U.S. will be demanding a quiet zone that has tracks used by various freight trains which means locomotive horns could be shut up for good. Cool video by the way.
