Remarks: It was mid-afternoon when this Conrail westbound crossed the UP/CSX diamonds in route to Blue Island on the Indiana Harbor Belt, who later that same day hustled the same train up their mainline through Blue Island Crossing with a far more interesting motive power consist—first generation EMD switchers.

Great illustration of that old saying: A pig (or container) can get through Chicago on one train, but a person can't.
