What a cool video! The location looks awesome for train watching. Is it still active?

Yes, its still active. Better be in good shape, as it is a hard climb from the road I took several brakes on the way up, and could feel my heart pounding in my head. I have another clip listed in here of the circus train crossing in 2004. The thumbnail is wrong. Somehow someone elses thumbnail is on for the picture for the video. This was, and will be my last climb up to here. I will leave it to the young bucks, as I will be 60 in April. Thanks for looking. Jackmp294.

All that power for that hill, no wonder it was a hard pull for you. You didn't have a pusher. Thanks for a great post.

Great video Jack, and what a nice surprise to see a dash-7 pushing it's heart out at the end along sd40s & slugs. It was worth the climb!

I used to say unprintable words about the way those C39-8s looked. Now that they're gone, I actually kind of miss them.
