Remarks: A single high-hood SD40-2 leads a long westbound local past the interlocking at "DA" and down the Lima District towards Findlay. Special thanks go to the guy in the diesel pickup truck for temporarily drowning out the sound of a hard working EMD 645...

I counted at least 57 cars, there could of been more, and with the first 5 carrying tanks, very impressive for one SD40-2, and a high hood, a great video.

Thanks for sharing a rare clip of this line with old high hood power.

The SD40-2 is a great locomotive, a single one has the ability to pull up to 12000 tons... sometimes that happens with the arrival of new locomotives most people "forget" that the locomotives as SD40-2 can pull quite large and heavy trains without problems. Do not forget what they did in the decades of 70, 80 and 90! Greath video Aaron!
