Remarks: Seen exiting the loop at Steventon, 37 602 leads 1Z12, a radio survey test train from Derby to Bristol Temple Meads via Oxford, Swindown and Newport. 37 218 brings up the rear. As usual for this summer, the sun refused to put in an appearance. Even more infuriating was seeing another photo of this train a few miles further west with the sun out at a location I had considered using.
