Remarks: GA FL train SB with Miller Brewery cars seen leaving Albany yard with Acree and Doerun Georgia runbys. GFRR 9636 built in 1976 as CN 9636 and bonus HATX 500 built Dec 1977 as GP38-2 Boston Maine 307. The Guilford Rail System paint still showing.

Nice catch. The ex-B&M unit is actually a GP40-2.

The x-CN unit was assigned out of Montreal and ran down to Portland Maine on trains 394 and 393 for quite a few years. That would be CN's 4th group of GP40-2W's, their 9633 to 9667 series. I have roster shots of every one of those engines in Portland. I had quite a few rides in those nice engines many years ago. The x-Boston and Maine unit used to run into Rigby Yard in South Portland for many years too. Again, we used to see them daily there. However, with everything that was good years ago, it's all gone now.
