Due to bandwidth constraints, only members of our affordably priced RVElite subscription service may view ultra high quality videos.

Ultra high quality videos are encoded at a higher video resolution (640x480, the size of this light gray box), are sampled at bitrates of 4000+k/sec, have no compression added, and may be viewed by our valued RVElite members in full-screen mode.

Remarks: "The J" was still holding its own, hosting CN traffic instead of being part of the CN system, when this was taped. Witness a loaded Stateline coal train head east first thing in the morning then return empty late in the day. There is something about those SD38's in notch eight that makes this some of my own favorite footage.

They do make sweet music in notch 8. The other thing I noticed about a 38 is the fact that the decks on those locos are so big that if the crew wanted to, they could put a hot tub or patio furniture and a grill out there to enjoy while waiting for a train to pass on the siding.

Good variety on video and the sound of the SD-38's is great.
