Remarks: CSX ran its second DPU test on Q602 between New Orleans and Waycross using its own company locomotives. (original plans called for using run-through UP power) This was the first to run through Georgia in daylight hours. At 8,400' and 140 cars, the rear DPU definitely came in handy during the journey! If all goes as planned, these could become a daily occurrence.
