Remarks: A pair of English Electric class 37s race through Reading with a down tanks while an HST stops on an up heading for London Paddington. Lastly 37709 passes on an up tanks service. All on Friday 15th December 1989. Reading station reconstruction has recently started and this will result in more platforms and underpass and flyover junctions.
